Irenia S. Ramon, age 87 of Earth, Texas died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born March 18, 1933 in Charlotte, Texas to Juan and Lucia (Garcia) Samarron. She married Margarito Ramon in Pleasanton, Texas on January 24, 1949.

Irenia was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family. She was an avid fan of “The Price is Right” and “Wheel of Fortune”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Margarito in 1994; her parents; a daughter; a sister; and six brothers.

Irenia is survived by her three sonos, Selso Ramon and his wife, Vickey of Earth, Texas, Emilio Ramon and his wife, Mary Ann of Earth, Texas and Pablo Ramon and his wife, Brenda of Lubbock, Texas; her four daughters, Lina Padilla and her husband, Daniel of Friona, Texas, Wilma Everett and her husband, Jamie of Earth, Texas, Virginia Olivares and her husband, Ross of Earth, Texas and Patricia Ramon and her husband, Jose Silva of Texico, New Mexico; her 16 grandchildren; her 17 great-grandchildren; and her 6 great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Parkview Nursing Care Center, 1100 West Avenue J, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
