Obituary for James G. Bujnosek

James G. Bujnosek, age 82, of Lubbock, Texas, died Friday, September 2, 2022 in Lubbock. He was born July 23, 1940 in Chillicothe, Texas to Joe and Josephine (Kubicek) Bujnosek.

James graduated from Anton High School, and lived in Farwell and Lubbock. He farmed all of his life and loved being a farmer, even to the end while in a wheelchair. James was an artististic wood worker as well. He was very talented and made Grandfather clocks, pencils and bowls, and his work was of the finest woods and caliber. James was the best son and brother to his family. Even though he was bound to a wheelchair, you never heard him complain. He was a fine neighbor and loved to grow vegetables to give to everyone. James never thought about himself, always wanting everyone else to be happy. He went the extra mile at all times, especially in caring for his parents. James put others’ needs above his own. Heaven is a better place, because he is there. God rest his soul. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ann Praslicka.

James is survived by his two sisters, Mary Berry of Lubbock, Texas and Dorothy Bishaw of La Marque, Texas; his brother, John Bujnosek of Lubbock, Texas; and his neighbor and friend, Dwayne White of Oklahoma Lane, Texas.

The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 409 South 3rd Street, Bovina, Texas, 79009.
