Obituary for Jasper Clarence Woodson

Jasper Clarence Woodson died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas. He was born February 16, 1930 in Vernon, Texas to Earl Wilson and Dora Alice (Packer) Woodson. He married Jerrie Ray, then married Ella Jean McDuff. After her death in 2013, he married Celia Lopez.

Jasper Clarence served in the US Air Force during the Korea War. He worked for Southwestern Public Service for over 40 years. Jasper Clarence was a member of the Muleshoe Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Jean; his parents; and a sister, Earlene Pryne.

Jasper Clarence is survived by his wife, Celia; his son, David Woodson and his wife, Sheri of Denver, Colorado; his two daughters, Janice Fulce and her husband, Rod of Amarillo, Texas and Debbie Bethel and her husband, Jim of Dumas, Texas; his four stepsons, Stephen Counterman, Patrick Counterman, James Counterman and Rueben Lopez; his four stepdaughters, Iris Guillen, Peggy Cobos, Deliliah Garza and Chriselda Rojas; two sisters, Melba Ruth Welch and Jeannie Cavender; his brother, Curtis Woodson; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
