Jeff Hamilton, age 55, of Lubbock, Texas, died Saturday, December 25, 2021 in Lubbock. He was born January 10, 1966 in Plainview, Texas to Kenny and Sharon (Been) Hamilton. He married Deena Burris in Lubbock on November 24, 1986.
Jeff loved having Deena right by his side and together they built a legacy of unconditional love. His kids and grandkids were the highlight of his life and brought him unending joy. They loved to listen to loud music, have dance parties, and laugh throughout any game they played. He enjoyed racehorses, and spending time outdoors. He was the first call if anyone needed something fixed and he never left one of the kids houses without tinkering with something. He was fully present and loved every aspect of his life. Jeff’s faith never wavered. When faced with his biggest mountain, he knew the truth— that he was victorious with either outcome. Jeff was an example of God’s love. His love was unconditional, never ending, without bounds, and for everyone. He brought peace when he walked into a room. He was a comforter, a protector, the greatest listener, and a voice of reason in all situations. Jeff is preceded in death by his parents.
Jeff is survived by the love of his life, his wife Deena; his son, Brant Hamilton and his wife, Kylah of Amarillo, Texas; his two daughters, Brandi James and her husband, Myles of Muleshoe, Texas and Mindy Hubbard and her husband, Shaun of Tularosa, New Mexico; his sister, Jill Winders and her husband, Kerry of Plainview, Texas; his six grandchildren, Price, Pace, Taylee, Jevin, Tynslee and Blake.
