Joe Lucas Fuentes died Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Littlefield, Texas. He was born October 18, 1952 in Moorehead, Minnesota to Jose and Julia (Bustamonte) Fuentes.
Joe was a greeter at the church. He enjoyed being a musician, especially playing the electric bass. He is preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Ricardo Fuentes; and one nephew, Matthew Fuentes.
Joe is survived by his two daughters, Korina Perry of Paris, Texas and Patricia Fuentes Boyles and her husband, Josh of Plainview, Texas; his father, Jose Fuentes of Olton, Texas; his four sisters, Delia Martinez of Earth, Texas, Stella DeLeon and her husband, Pete of Earth, Texas, Lydia Gonzales of McAllen, Texas and Janie Fuentes of Earth, Texas; his three brothers, Lupe Fuentes of Earth, Texas, Raymon Fuentes and his wife, Beatrice of Dimmitt, Texas and Roberto Fuentes and his wife, Sylvia of Earth, Texas; his sister-in-law, Jobita Fuentes of Earth, Texas; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
