Obituary for Johnie Henderson Jr.
Johnie died Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Amarillo. He was born May 24, 1950 in Muleshoe, Texas to Johnie and Marie (Dorn) Henderson.
Johnie served in the US Army until the early 1990’s. He attended Sunset School of Preaching in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Zane Henderson; and a sister, Darlene Norton.
Johnie is survived by his sister, Dianne Sparks and her husband, Buddy of Wheeler, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and his two good friends, Casey Beckers of Amarillo, Texas and Clarence Bodling of Amarillo, Texas. Honorary Bearers for Johnie's service will be Buddy Sparks, Nicholas Sparks, Cody Clark, Dawson Clark and Gregg Clark.
