Jose Lozano Herrera, age 73, of Muleshoe, Texas died Friday, July 24, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born September 8, 1946 in Tayotita, Durango, Mexico to Santos and Maria (Del Socorro) Herrera. He married Marisella Martinez in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Jose was a rancher for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one granddaughter, Annalise.
Jose is survived by his wife, Marisella; his son, Juan Espinoza of Austin, Texas; his two daughters, Maria Alfaro and her husband, Harvey of Muleshoe, Texas and Ester Rodriguez and her husband, Rod of Lubbock, Texas; five sisters, two brothers; and seven grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be sent to the National Kidney Foundation, 5429 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Dallas, Texas, 75240.
