Obituary for Jose V. Herrera
Jose V. Herrera, age 54, of Farwell, Texas, died Monday, August 15, 2022 in Farwell. He was born July 14, 1968 in Guadalupe Paiz, Durango, Mexico. He married Sandra Fernandez in Cuahtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico on December 29, 1991.
Jose was an avid Lakers fan. He loved to sing and listen to music, as well as dancing. He treasured spending time with his family and kids. He also enjoyed playing volleyball. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Cayetano Herrera.
Jose is survived by his wife, Sandra; his three sons, Christopher Herrera of Farwell, Texas, Esteban Herrera of Farwell, Texas and Adrian Herrera of Farwell, Texas; his daughter, Bianca Herrera of Farwell, Texas; his four sisters, Josefa Vieyra of Los Angeles, California, Renata Arreola of Los Angeles, California, Gabriela Valdez of California and Petra Orguiz and her husband, Guero of Durango, Mexico; and his granddaughter, Aaliyah Herrera.
