Jose has been a member of our family for most of my life. He began working on our farm when I was young. I don't remember how old he was but he must have been under 18. He didn't have a place to live so my dad let him move into my "playhouse" which was a fairly large storage building, this was the original "tiny house". Every day I sat & waited for Jose to finish in the field so my friend could hang out with me. He was my best buddy, he jumped on the trampoline, pushed me on the swing, whatever I wanted to do he always played with me. When dad quit farming Jose went to work for his best friend Butch. Jose remained a part of our family. When my parents house burned & my MeMa decided she could no longer live by herself on the farm, Jose bought her house & land. I love you my friend and I will miss you!
