Obituary for Luis Gardea
Luis Gardea, age 90, of Muleshoe, Texas, died January 31, 2022 in Muleshoe. He was born May 30, 1931 in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico to Alejandro and Virginia (Peinado) Gardea. He married Albesa Robles in Dimmitt, Texas on March 19, 1961.
Luis loved playing musical instruments and singing. He also enjoyed gardening and landscape work. After he retired from farming, Luis became a mechanic for several years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren, Cedric Castorena and Alejandro Lopez Gandara.
Luis is survived by his wife, Albesa; his three sons, Victor Gardea and his wife, Olga of Houston, Texas, Jose Gardea and his wife, Adriana of Muleshoe, Texas and Hector Gardea and his wife, JoAnn of Muleshoe, Texas; his three daughters, Belen Garza and her husband, John Paul of Muleshoe, Texas, Amelia Perales and her husband, Roy of Salt Lake City, Utah and Diana Gandara and her husband, Alonso of Muleshoe, Texas; his two sisters, Elodia Rodriquez of Chihuahua, Mexico and Maria Gardea of Santa Monica, California; this two brothers, Pablo Gardea of Delicia, Chihuahua, Mexico and Jose Angel Gardea of Santa Monica, California; his fifteen grandchildren; his thirteen great-grandchildren; and his four great-great-grandchildren.
