Mary "Lynn" May Campbell, age was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania on March 15, 1942 to Donald “Don” May and Mildred “Millie” Hipchen May. She and her family moved to Wichita Falls, TX when she was seven. She had three siblings: Tom, Jan, and Danny.
She married her college sweetheart, William Timothy “Buck” Campbell on January 27, 1962. They lived on a farm in Parmer County for 11 years before moving to Muleshoe, where they lived for 48 years. They had three children: Stacey, Scott, and Kristi.
Lynn was co-owner of Decorator’s Nursery and Floral and later an office manager for BC Produce. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a heart for helping people in need. She organized funeral dinners for her church, and helped with ROCK, an after-school child care program at her church. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and later the First United Methodist Church of Muleshoe. Lynn had a kind, sweet disposition and a great sense of humor. She was loving and non-judgmental. She was a talented artist and decorator, and a great cook. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Millie; and her sister, Jan.
She is survived by her husband: Buck of Lubbock, Texas; her children: Stacey Franklin of Lubbock, Texas, Scott Campbell (Tricia) of Roanoke, Texas, and Kristi Fuqua (Michael) of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren Conner Campbell, Hanna Franklin, Cliff Campbell, Susan Franklin, Sarah Fuqua, Jason Fuqua, and Eric Fuqua; great grandson: George Franklin; brothers Tom (Marilou) and Danny May; sister-in-law Tommie (Tim) Hatch; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
