Obituary for Maria Pesina (Avila)
Maria D. Pesina, age 94, of Red Springs, North Carolina, died Monday, November 8, 2021 in Red Springs. She was born December 13, 1926 in Minillas, Guanajuato, Mexico to Refugio and Maria Flores (Lara) Avila-Martinez. She married Ambrosio Pesina in Monterrey N.L., Mexico on September 28, 1965.
Maria was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ambrosio; her parents; her three sisters, Josefina Avila, Maria de Jesus Avila de Rodriguez and Maria de la Luz Avila de Delgado; and her brother, Salvador Avila.
Maria is survived by her son, Juan Pesina-Avila and his wife, Bonnie of Red Springs, North Carolina; her two grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren.
