Maria Cruz Rodriguez (Crusita), age 84, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Earth. She was born May 3, 1937 in Belizario Dominguez, Durango, Mexico to Jose de la Luz Mena and Maria de la Luz Gonzales. She married Ruben Rodriguez in Durango, Mexico on in February of 1965.

Maria was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben; a step-daughter, Alejandrina Rodriguez; her parents; three sisters and eight brothers.

Maria is survived by her son, Rogelio Cruz and his wife, Maria of Shallowater, Texas; her step-son, Enrique Rodriguez and his wife, Nena of Durango, Mexico; her three daughters, Eva Mendoza and her husband, Marin of Earth, Texas, Celia Flores and her husband, Rito of Muleshoe, Texas and Hortencia Cruz and her husband, Daniel of Dalton, Georgia; her sister, Marina Mena of Durango, Mexico; her brother, Salvador Mena and his wife, Maria De Jesus Barboza of Gainsville, Georgia; her twenty-two grandchildren; her forty-one great-grandchildren; and her ten great-great-grandchildren.
