Obituary for Mario Costilla
Mario A. "Pops" Costilla, age 61, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in Muleshoe. He was born November 12, 1960 in Muleshoe to Ysidro and Amelia (Arriazola) Costilla. He married Irma Daniel in Muleshoe on April 25, 2002
Mario loved coaching his kids and grandkids in all of their sports. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a member of Chicanos Unidos Campesinos and served as the secretary/treasurer. Mario was also a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mario is survived by his wife, Irma; his son, Michael Daniel Garcia and his wife, Jasmin of Bethleham, Georgia; his two daughters, Sheila Marie Garcia of Muleshoe, Texas and Roxann Jenkins of Muleshoe, Texas; his five sisters, Anita, Tina, Margarita, Luisa and Alice; his four brothers, Ysidro Jr., Marcos, Joe and Gilbert; and his eight grandchildren, Desirae, Jasmine, Austin, Amri, Sirinity, Evan, Leon and Noel.
