Obituary for Mario Flores
Mario Flores, age 75, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was born March 8, 1946 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Eduviges amd Beva (Garzoria) Ibarra. He married Anita Costilla in Muleshoe on October 15, 1965.
Mario was the owner and operator of Flores & Sons Irrigation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sylvia Olivarez; and two grandsons, Gabriel Josiah DeLeon and Jude Juan de Dios Flores.
Mario is survived by his wife, Anita; his son, Hector Javier Flores and his wife, Lorena of Muleshoe, Texas; his four daughters, Laura Garcia of Muleshoe, Texas, Pamela Martinez of Hayward, California, Mary Montes of Sudan, Texas and Cassandra Flores of Amarillo, Texas; his three sisters, Yolanda of Matamoros, Mexico, Dora Luz of Matamoros, Mexico and Sandra Garcia of La Feria, Texas; his seventeen grandchildren; and his seventeen, great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Mountain View Medical Center, 4311 Lohman Ave., Las Cruces, NM, 88011.
