Obituary for Neleen Dent (Lewis)
Neleen Dent, age 89, of Lubbock, Texas died Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Lubbock. She was born March 30, 1931 in Lamb County, Texas to Virgil and Annie (Goldston) Lewis. She married Leon "Tuffy" Dent in Springlake, Texas on May 22, 1948.
Neleen loved her family, especially her grandkids. She was a gifted seamstress and an avid reader. Neleen also enjoyed playing golf. She was a dedicated Fox News viewer and reported the news to her family faithfully. Neleen is preceded in death by her husband, Tuffy; her parents; and one brother, Truman Lewis.
Neleen is survived by her four daughters, Ginger Armstrong and her husband, Logan of Sunrise Beach, Texas, Criss Cleavinger and her husband, Mike of Lubbock, Texas, Cindy Harrison of Lubbock, Texas and Kim Jordan and her husband, Royce of Lubbock, Texas; her sister, Linda Johnson of Amarillo, Texas; her brother, Melvin Lewis of Keller, Texas; her eleven grandchildren, Jeff Armstong and his wife, Jamie, Jessica Jiminez and her husband, Jared, Chad Armstrong and his wife, Stacy, Mandy Helton and her husband, Jason, Cassidy Duran, Dustin Cleavinger and his wife, Lynsie, Johnna Brumley and her husband, JJ, Logan Harrison and his wife, Hannah, Bryce Jordan and his wife, Kaci, Ashlei Simon and her husband, Max and Tara Newton and her husband, Brad; her thirty-four great-grandchildren; and her one great-great-grandchild.
