Wanetta Jean "Netta" Haney died Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 50 years, 4 months and 5 days. She was born April 26, 1968 in Friona, Texas to Robert and Wanda (Parker) Templar. She married
Greg Haney in Lazubuddie on June 27, 1986.

Netta graduated from Lazbuddie High School in 1986. She worked for Parmer County for 8 years and treasured her time spent with her family. Netta was a member of Trinity Christian Center in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shari McCorkle.

Netta is survived by her husband, Greg; her two sons, Bryce Haney and his wife, Skyler of Muleshoe, Texas and Dylan Haney and his wife, Ashley of Lariat, Texas; her daughter, Mandy Contreras and her husband, Cory of Muleshoe, Texas; her sister, Charlotte Harris of Lubbock, Texas; and six grandchildren, Kaden Contreras, Kaelor Contreras, Kannon Contreras, Braxten Haney, Brantley Haney and Bo Haney.
