Obituary for Neva Calvert
Neva Calvert, age 95, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in Amherst, Texas. She was born November 20, 1926 in Girard, Texas to Ollie D. and May (Garner) Stanley. She married Johnie L. Calvert in Clovis, New Mexico on May 17, 1948.
Neva enjoyed playing games with her family and was a wonderful cook. She loved the life of a farmer’s wife. Neva was a member of 16th & D Church of Christ in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnie; her parents; her sister; and her four brothers.
Neva is survived by her two sons, Larry Calvert of Lubbock, Texas and Scott Calvert and his wife, Francy of Lubbock, Texas; her daughter, Judy Davenport and her husband, Raymond of Muleshoe, Texas; her two grandchildren, Misty Lassiter and her husband, Ross and Damon Davenport and his wife, April; and her three great-grandchildren, Logan Lassiter, Landon Lassiter and Eli Davenport.
