Nona Marlow, age 90, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Friday, February 11, 2022 in Muleshoe. She was born December 16, 1931 in Brownwood, Texas to Troy H. and Noema (Bates) Clem. She married Billie Wayne Marlow in the Longview Community in 1947. After Billie passed away, Nona later married Horton Griffin.

Nona was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Muleshoe, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Billie; her second husband, Horton; her parents; a son, Randy Marlow; a son-in-law, Sandy Noble; a brother, Troy H. Clem, Jr.; and a sister, Jeanne Morgan.


Nona is survived by three daughters, Deborah Noble of Muleshoe, Texas, Connie Bruns and her husband, Bruce of Amarillo, Texas and Vicki Wilson and her husband, Darrel of Missouri; her daughter-in-law, Johnette Frymire of Thomas, Oklahoma; her eight grandchildren; Lisa Gunstream, Jill Duvak, Amber Elliot, Jeff Bruns, Stephanie Perkins, Johathan Marlow, Jordan Marlow and Jennifer Brown; her thirteen great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren.
