Palestina Perez, age 89, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born July 11, 1932 in Premont, Texas to Placido Tanguma and Josephina Barrientez. She married Andres Bera Perez in Kenedy, Texas on January 18, 1950.

Palestina was a housewife and a homemaker. She was a member of the Spanish Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andres; her parents; five sisters; six brothers; and a daughter, DeAnna “Dianita” Perez.

Palestina is survived by her seven sons, Freddy Perez and his wife Anna of Muleshoe, Texas, Andy Perez Jr. and his wife, Norma of Colorado City, Texas, Roy Perez of Muleshoe, Texas, Roland Perez and his wife, Connie of Brandon, Mississippi, Adrian Perez of Fresno, California, Norman Perez and his wife, Christy of Arlington, Texas and Ronnie Perez and his wife Shelby of Fate, Texas; her eight daughters, Mary Jo DeLeon and her husband, Fred of Earth, Texas, Belinda Garza and her husband, John of Sudan, Texas, Yolanda Jaramillo of Muleshoe, Texas, Diamond Perez of Hereford Texas, Oneida Solis and her husband, Sam of Lubbock, Texas, Christine June Perez of Muleshoe, Texas, Connie Eichem of Muleshoe, Texas and Bonnie Ellis of Amarillo, Texas; her thirty-seven grandchildren; her forty-three great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-great-grandchildren.
