Obituary for Patsy W Davis (Bilbrey)
Patsy W. (Bilbrey) Davis died Monday, June 17, 2019 in Mineral Wells, Texas at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 13 days. She was born May 4, 1938 in Monument, New Mexico to Waymond "Pete" and Dessie (Dickison) Bilbrey. She married Cleon Davis in Bledsoe on March 14, 1958.
Patsy worked as a school dietician for many years. She also coached Little Dribblers. She taught Sunday school and was very active in the Bledsoe Baptist Church, where she was a member. Patsy enjoyed reading, gardening and cooking. She treasured time spent with her family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patsy is preceded in death by her husband Cleon, parents, one brother and two grandsons.
Patsy is survived by her three daughters, Darla Lemons and her husband, Donnie of Mineral Wells, Texas, Velinda Stephens and her husband, Randy of Hilltop Lakes, Texas and Janet Marshall and her husband, Jeff of McCloud, Oklahoma. Additionally, survivors include three sisters, Teresa Sooter of Seminole, Texas, Eva Sooter of Tatum, New Mexico and Bessie Denny of Bledsoe, Texas, four brothers, Bill Bilbrey of Burleson, Texas, Milton Bilbrey and his wife, Necie of Levelland, Texas, Marion Bilbrey and his wife, Jeannie of Cross Roads, New Mexico and Johnny Bilbrey and his wife, Beverly of Odessa, Texas, eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren (with one on the way), and two great-great-grandchildren (with one on the way).
