Obituary for Paula Winkles (Alexander)
Paula Winkles, age 82, of Farwell, Texas, died Friday, May 28, 2021 in Farwell. She was born July 18, 1938.
Paula was affectionately know as Grammie to many. She loved sewing and baking. She enjoyed watching softball and her grandkids’ sports. Paula was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farwell. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rhonda Kirkland; a brother, Harvey Lethgo; a grandson, T.J. Krach; a granddaughter, Coley Swackhammer; and a great-great-grandson, Beau Denniston.
Paula is survived by her son, Jade Winkles of Shallowater, Texas; her four daughters, Lanita Swackhammer of Lubbock, Texas, Deanna Lane of Clovis, New Mexico, Kenda Hager of Clovis, New Mexico and Jarrett Winton of Amarillo, Texas; her brother, Larry Lethgo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her twelve grandchildren; her fourteen great-grandchildren; and her one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be sent to First Baptist Church, PO Box 129, Farwell, Texas, 79325.
