Richard Guillen died Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 46 years, 5 months and 19 days. He was born November 8, 1972 in Morton, Texas to Arturo Guillen and Esmida (Orona) Soliz. He married Raquel Guajardo in Morton on April 28, 2018.
Richard was an oil field worker. He is preceded in death by a brother, Arturo Guillen and his grandparents, Cruz and Isabel Orona and Enrique and Maria Guillen.
Richard is survived by his wife, Raquel; two daughters, Mireya Castruita of Hobbs, New Mexico and Mercedes Guillen of Hobbs, New Mexico; his parents, Arturo Guillen and Esida Soliz of Morton, Texas; his step-son, Anthony Vargas of Seminole, Texas; his step-daughters, Adrianna Guajardo of Olton, Texas, Vernica Elizondo of Seminole, Texas and Tatrianna Guajardo of Seminole, Texas; his three sisters, Erma Lopez of Morton, Texas, Ruth Marie Soliz and her husband, Tony of Morton, Texas and Belinda Guillen; his brother, Raul Orona of Morton, Texas; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and a bundle of nieces and nephews.
