Obituary for Richard Moore
Richard Moore died Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas He was born November 6, 1936 in Kansas City, Kansas to Marion Robert and Virginia Mary (Ruckel) Moore. He married Bettie Ford in Muleshoe, Texas on June 11, 1978.
Richard served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Southwestern Public Service for many years before retiring. One of Richard’s favorite things was drinking coffee with his friends at the bank in Earth every morning. Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie; his parents; a sister, Dorothy Heavner; and his first wife, and mother of his sons, Virginia Hamlin Moore.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Allen Moore and his wife, Lisa of Cocoa, Florida and Clifford Moore of Cocoa, Florida; his sister, Mary Lou Harris of Granbury, Texas; two grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
