Rickey Alan Maxey, age 63, of Logan, New Mexico died Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born December 20, 1957 in Cambridgeshire, England to Bobby and Mary (Bryant) Maxey. He married Julie Rivers in Plattsburgh, New York on Jun 4, 1983. Services are pending at this time.
Rickey served in the U.S. Air Force honorably for 14 ½ years. After retiring he owned and operated Wholesale Wrecking in Clovis, New Mexico. Rickey enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and he loved Jesus. Rickey is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sherry Maggio Flynn.
Rickey is survived by his wife, Julie; his two sons, Aaron Matthew Maxey of West Virginia and Rick Maxey Jr. and his wife, Annette of Sudan, Texas; his daughter, Elaine Canham and her husband, Andrew of Woodway, Texas; and his five grandchildren, Loryn, Mahayla, Patrick, Benjamin and Autumn.
