Obituary for Robert William Wauson

Robert William Wauson, age 66, of Muleshoe, Texas died Thursday, December 16, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born June 30, 1955 in Brownfield, Texas to Elvis Ray "Bear" and Nellie Margaret (Carter) Wauson. He married Brenda Sue Winegeart in Oklahoma Lane on August 9, 1980.

Robert and his father owned and operated Wauson Trucking for ten years. He worked for Crane Hay Farms and also for Earl Ladd for many years. Since retiring, Robert worked part-time for Muleshoe Feed Barn. He was on the Plains Volunteer Fire Department and Muleshoe Fire Department for 25 years, each. Robert was a huge supporter of the kids in 4-H and FFA. He was a member of Oklahoma Lane Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Clary; and a sister, Anita Clary.

Robert is survived by his wife, Brenda; his two daughters, Alisha Ulrich and her husband, Andrew of Muleshoe, Texas and Michelle Hill and her husband, Colton of Lazbuddie, Texas; his two brothers, Wayne Wauson and his wife, Mary of Muleshoe, Texas and Gene Wauson and his wife, Janette of Brownfield, Texas; his five sisters, Pauline Deen of Knox City, Texas, Priscilla Herington and her husband, Rodney of Farwell, Texas, Gloria Johnson and her husband, Steven of Ft. Worth, Texas, Theada Wauson of Knox City, Texas and Paula Clary of Knox City, Texas; his four grandchildren, Melline, Nikki, Elizabeth and Barrett Hill; and his in-laws, Paula and Budy Watkins, Sharon and Albert Pierce, Nelda and Delton Wilhite, Eddie and Julie Winegeart, Mary Lin Winders and Richard and Susan Winegeart; and numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
