Obituary for Sherry Lynn Embry (Clark)
Sherry Lynn Embry, age 66, of Farwell, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, with her husband and her children by her side. She was born June 9, 1955, in Clovis, to Donald and Lueta (McKillip) Clark. She married Weldon Embry, in Clovis, on August 23, 1975.
Sherry was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She loved being of service to others through cooking, writing cards and letters, sewing and making phone calls. Sherry was outgoing and cared about others She loved making friends wherever she went. One of Sherry’s greatest joys was to serve her family as a faithful wife, loving mother and Grammy, and a devoted daughter. She is preceded in death by her brother, David Clark.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 46 years, Weldon; her two sons, Brandon Embry and his wife, Amanda of Farwell, Texas and Dawson Embry of Canyon, Texas; her daughter, Rachel Embry of Lubbock, Texas; her parents, Donald and Lueta Clark of Clovis, New Mexico; and her three grandchildren, Mikali, Daniel, and Fenton Embry.
