Obituary for Ted Simpson
William "Ted" Simpson, age 90, of Morton, Texas, died Monday, October 31, 2022 in Muleshoe, Texas. He was born September 27, 1932 in Lubbock, Texas to James and Mary (Walters) Simpson. He married Sammie Clark in Shallowater, Texas on December 2, 1951.
Ted served in the U.S. Navy. He was a farmer for over 50 years in Maple, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter-in-law, Konnie Simpson; and a brother, Jerry Simpson.
Ted is survived by his wife of over 70 years, Sammie; his two sons, Dan Simpson of Maple, Texas and James Simpson and his wife, Patti of Shallowater, Texas; his daughter, Saundra Pool and her husband, Wesley of Clovis, New Mexico; his five grandchildren, Jonathan Pool, Andrew Pool and his wife, Nikki, Eric Simpson and his wife, Savannah, Allison Sweet and her husband, Jonathan and Emilee Simpson; and his eight great-grandchildren.
