Travis Nail died Monday, November 25, 2019 in Lazbuddie. He was born February 18, 1941 in Seagraves, Texas to Lloyd Delbert and Mildred Louise (Allen) Nail. He married Janie Velasquez in Dimmitt, Texas on June 14, 1963.

Travis served in the U.S. Army and farmed in the Lazbuddie community for many years. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Ann Lueras; his parents; and one sister, Debbie Sellers.

Travis is survived by his wife, Janie; his three sons, Larry Don Nail and his wife, Peggy Dale of Edmond, OK, Will Nail of Lubbock, TX and Robert William Nail of Odessa, TX; his two daughters, Carolyn Scott and her husband, Lee of Lazbuddie, TX and Sandra Gonzales and her husband, Noe of Wolfforth, TX; his son-in-law, Victor Lueras of Clovis, New Mexico; his three sisters, Avis Smith of Springlake, TX, Mary Elizabeth Ellard of Colorado Springs, CO and Jackie Sewell of Joshua, TX; his two brothers, L.D. Nail of Springhill, LA and Leonard Nail of Lubbock, TX; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
