Viola Sigala Catano, age 66, of Muleshoe, Texas died Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born July 19, 1954 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan and Maria de Jesus (Gonzalez) Sigala. She married Miguel Catano in Lubbock, Texas.

Viola was a great cook and a wonderful woman. She loved her family, expecially all of her grandkids. She enjoyed taking care of her yard, roses, peach trees and apricot trees. Viola loved dancing and playing cards. She is preceded in death by her husband, Miguel; a son, Manuel Venegas; her parents; and two granddaughters, Angela Contreras and Mariksa Yadira Catano.

Viola is survived by her three sons, Eleuterio Venegas Jr. of Edinburg, Texas, Miguel Angel Catano of Muleshoe, Texas and Polo Venegas of Muleshoe, Texas; her five daughters, Guadalupe Anchondo of Littlefield, Texas, Norma Lee Venegas of Portales, New Mexico, Janet Venegas of Odessa, Texas, Michelle Catano of Muleshoe, Texas and Melissa Catano of Muleshoe, Texas; her two sisters, Rosa Romero of Clovis, New Mexico and Marisela Gallegos of Odessa, Texas; her two brothers, Ramon Sigala of Odessa, Texas and Andres Sigala of Presidio, Texas; 22 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchidren.
