Obituary for Virgil "Bud" Ratzloff
Virgil "Bud" H. Ratzloff, age 94, of Moundridge, Kansas, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Moundridge. He was born March 10, 1928 in Hesston, Kansas to Abraham Henry and Adina (Schmidt) Ratzloff. He married Alda May Esau in Winton, California on April 25, 1948. After she died in 1989, he married Wanda Unruh on July 21, 1991.
Bud was a member of the Mennonite Church of God in Christ. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Alda May Ratzloff; his parents; a brother, Orville Ratzloff; three sisters, Lillian Ratzloff, Inez Mininger and Arlene Peaster; and a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Ratzloff.
Bud is survived by his wife Wanda; his two sons, Abraham Ratzloff of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Jacob Ratzloff and his wife, Jill of Clarkdale, Arizona; his two daughters, Marilda Koehn and her husband, Galen of Macon, Mississippi and Myrna Nightingale and her husband, Orie of Farwell, Texas; his step-daughter, Sherie Peaster and her husband, Dale of Okolona, Mississippi; his seventeen grandchildren; his sixty-six great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
