Genny died August 20, 2014 in Luling, Texas She was born December 29, 1922 in Duncan, Oklahome to Joe and Mary (Cummings) Wilkinson. She married Leonard Kerr in 1984.

Background:
Genny moved to Sudan, Texas from Oklahoma in a covered wagon in the 1930’s. She was one of ten children and graduated from Sudan High School. After marrying Leonard Kerr, she moved to Gauthier, Mississippi until they retired in 1997 and moved back to Sudan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard in 2004; her parents, and five brothers and sisters, Ophie, Wayne, Mary Jo, Floyd and Lloyd.


Survivors:
Survivors include a son, Jack Chamberlain and his wife, Loray of Lockhart, Texas; two granddaughters, Brittney Rae Chamberlain of Stephenville, Texas and Lindy Ann Chamberlain of Lockhart, Texas; three sisters, Ada Greer of Casper Wyoming, Mable Wages of Earth, Texas and Ruby Gipson of Auburn, Washington; and a brother, Jimmy Wilkinson of Comanche, Texas.
