Obituary for Gene "Tiger" Tunnell

Gene "Tiger"  Tunnell
Gene died August 21, 2014 at his home in Earth. He was born May 8, 1940 in Amherst, Texas to Eldon Oliver and Lois Maxine (Cook) Tunnell.

Background:
Gene was a life-long member of the Earth community. He was a member and leader of the Muleshoe Alcoholics Anonymous for 35 years. He was also a lifetime member of the Earth Rodeo Association and an avid bronc rider and fan. Gene was a self-taught custom saddle craftsman. He was a member of the Muleshoe Cowboy Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Tunnell.


Survivors:
Survivors include a son, Rusty Tunnell and his wife, Darrisa of Elk City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Kassi Bradley and her husband, Justin of Sunnyside, Texas, Lori Davis of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kerri Gilley and her husband, Gary of Amarillo, Texas; a brother, Jerry Tunnell of Mineral Wells, Texas; fifteen grandchildren, Travis Tunnell, Brittney Mireles, Claye Tunnell, Tyler Davis, Kaleigh Davis, Nic Davis, Ashton Cone, Bailee Bradley, Caullen Bradley, Reagan Gilley, Rileigh Gilley, Gaylen Sudderth, Colton Sudderth, Jason Sudderth and Tim Hill; and nine great-grandchildren.
