Obituary for Bobbye Bratton Mimms (Bratton)

Bobbye Bratton  Mimms (Bratton)
Bobbye died August 29, 2014 in Lubbock. She was born July 12, 1925 in Paducah, Texas to Robert D. and Eva R. (Stennitt) Bratton. She married Glenn W. "Pete" Mimms in Crosbyton, Texas on January 24, 1945.

Background:
Bobbye moved to Lubbock from Lazbuddie in 1999. She taught Bible school for many years and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Lazbuddie Church of Christ for 46 years, before transferring her membership to the Shallowater Church of Christ, 12 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete, and her parents.


Survivors:
Survivors include three sons, Kelly Mimms and his wife, Judy of Clovis, New Mexico, Clay Mimms and his wife, Reta of McAlister, New Mexico and Tracy Mimms and his wife, Andrea of Weed, New Mexico; a daughter, Jill Moudy and her husband, Alvin of Shallowater, Texas; a sister, Cherrye Dean of Ft. Worth, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
