Larry died December 28, 2014 in Morton. He was born April 2, 1965 in Van Horn, Texas to Perfecto and Casmira (Garza) Marquez. He married Mary Luera in Clovis, New Mexico on September 21, 1991.

Larry served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Antonio Marquez.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; his son, Larry Chris Marquez of Morton, Texas; his daughter, Briana Marquez of Morton, Texas; five sisters, Elidia Hernandez of Morton, Texas, Juana Palma of Roswell, New Mexico, Ortencia Redhouse of North Platte, Nebraska, Adeliada Almanza of Tomball, Texas and Trine Marquez of Morton, Texas; two brothers, Nick Marquez of Pearland, Texas and Vick Marquez of Morton, Texas.
