Cleon died April 8, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born November 17, 1931 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma. He married Patsy Bilbrey in Bledsoe on March 14, 1958.

Cleon moved from Muleshoe to Morton in 1946. He was a constable in Cochran County, and was a member of the American Legion in Morton. He enjoyed being involved in his community and church. Cleon was a member and a Deacon of the Bledsoe Baptist Church. He loved his family and especially his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, four brothers and two grandsons.

Survivors include, his wife, Patsy; three daughters, Darla Lemons and her husband, Donnie of Mineral Wells, Texas, Velinda Stephens and her husband, Randy of Tomball, Texas and Janet Marshall and her husband, Jeff of Mcloud, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
