So many memories of growing up in the Lenau Additon center around Freida and Vic. Mike was my best friend growing up, and I always felt at home there. I remember a trip to Ruidoso with them one summer. Mike and I got into so much trouble, but Freida couldn't stay mad at us too long. Vic and Freida weren't fancy folks, just down to earth people. They were always good to all the kids in the neighborhood. As we gre older, when Mike and I worked at Pay and Save, she would always make sure we sacked her groceries just the right way. Everyone should have a Freida in their life. The neighborhood wouldn't have been the same without her.
