Fred Wayne  Foster
Fred Wayne Foster left this life on Monday, July 13, 2015. “Pappy” as he was known by his family, was born on February 26, 1931 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was the third child of Homer D. and Violet Mae (Sutton) Foster. He was raised in Muleshoe, Texas.

Wayne married his sweetheart, Juanita Louise Rundell on April 1, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. They were unaware that the clock was just past mid-night making their wedding day “April Fools Day.”

Wayne served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955. He was aboard the USS Bennington and based in Norfolk, Virginia and Orange Texas. After being discharged he moved with Louise to the Oklahoma Lane Community were they remained for the rest of their lives. They were married for 62 years.

Together they raised four boys and worked side-by-side farming and team driving semi-trucks.

Wayne is survived by his sons and daughter-in-laws: Bobby DeWayne Foster and his wife Jenine (Pierce) of Midlothian, Texas; Buddy Vondell Foster and his wife Darlene (Murphy) of Sardis, Texas; Jack Meredith Foster and wife Ann (Tims) of Farwell, Texas; Richard Ken Foster and wife Kanetha (Hysinger) of Farwell , Texas. His brother Roy Allen foster of Brownfield, Texas; his sister, Wilma Jean Freeman of Amarillo, Texas; sister Myra Lynn McDougal and husband R.J. Mc Dougal of Canyon, Texas; sister-in-law Bernice (Tidwell) Foster of Terrell, Texas; and brother-in-law E. Jack Heard of Midland, Texas. He was also loved by 10 Grandchildren, their 8 spouses, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandaughter, and a host of nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Louise, his brother Frank D. Foster and his sister Mickey Sue (Foster)Heard, and a grandson Chris Caldwell.
