Jannie Ree Moseley, 84, of Muleshoe was taken home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. She passed in her home surrounded by her close loved ones. She was born in Abernathy, Texas on October 27, 1930 to Travis and Kathryn Hancock. She was a high school graduate of Cotton Center. In 1949, on August 3, she was united in Marriage to Matt Moseley. They moved to Lazbuddie in 1969, before becoming residents of Muleshoe in 1974. Jannie Worked as a sales associate at St. Clairs, Poynor Whites and Harvey Bass. She was a physical therapist for Muleshoe Area Medical Center and a Value Care representative until she retired at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and husband of 60 years. She is survived by her oldest son, Marty and wife Krista Moseley of Woodrow, Texas; oldest daughter, Rea and husband Glen Morris of Merkel, Texas; daughter Rena and husband, Presley Newton of Muleshoe, Texas; and her youngest son, Greg Moseley of Muleshoe, Texas; her younger sister, Jannett St. Clair of Austin, Texas and baby brother, Glen and wife, Carol Hancock of Fritch, Texas. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.
