Obituary for Everett Lee Reeder

Everett Lee  Reeder
Everett died Sepetember 7, 2015 in Muleshoe. He was born December 8, 1928 in Bailey County, Texas to Harl and Hazel Reeder. He married Ellen V. Riddle on August 18, 1948.

Everett started working for Bailey County Electric Co-op as a lineman. They moved to Morton, where he continued working as a lineman for Cochran Power and Light for many years. While there they had three children, Ronny, Cassandra and Mikel. In 1974, Everett and Ellen moved to College Station, where he went to work for Texas A&M as a safety instructor for the REA companies across South Texas. He retired in 1991 and moved to Brownwood to go fishing, eventually moving back to Muleshoe in 2009 to be with his sister.

Survivors include two sons, Ronny Reeder and Mikel Reeder; a daughter, Cassandra Lindsay; two sisters, Dorthay Vonn Bowers and Mary Jo Burge; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the Oneita Wagnon Senior Center, PO Box 292, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
