Memorial Service for Robert Hunt, 75, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at The Old Home Place west of Muleshoe. Robert died Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Muleshoe. He was born November 7, 1940 in Muleshoe, Texas. He married Nelda Redwine in Progress, Texas on January 29, 1960.

Robert lived in and around Muleshoe his whole life. He was a lifelong farmer and loved to hunt and shoot skeet. He transported for Ellis Funeral Home for 14 years, and helped many families during their time of need. Robert always enjoyed helping and supporting the 4-H Club. He devoted every living moment to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert attended Calvary Baptist Church in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nelda; his son, Curtis Hunt and his wife, Lavon of Muleshoe, Texas; his two daughters, Sheila Black of Lubbock, Texas and Tori Widner and her husband, Larry Widner of Bovina, Texas; six grandchildren, Landon and Bailey Black, Cory and Angel Hunt, Coli and Jenna Hunt, Andi and Gary Dunlap, Dakota Bruton, Makenzie and Colton Savage; and seven great-grandchildren, Jaylee Hunt, Jace Bruton, Jeep Bruton, C.J. Black, Cyson Hunt, Jacelyn Hunt and Cayden Hunt.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Circle of Love, 454 Hwy 213, Friona, Texas, 79035.
