Emmett "Reid"  Marricle
Church Service for Emmett "Reid" Marricle, age 1, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, June 13, 2016 at First United Methodist Church of Muleshoe with Rev. Mindy McLanahan of Muleshoe and Dr. Stacy Conner of Muleshoe officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park. Reid died Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Muleshoe in the arms of his mama and surrounded by those who loved him most. He was born September 8, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas to Ryan and Morgan Marricle.

Reid lived in Muleshoe all of his life. He loved playing with his big brother, Kace and being the center of attention. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Muleshoe. Reid is preceded in death by two great-grandmothers, Alma Burton and Willie Mae Marricle and two great-grandfathers, Jack Douglas and Berry Wood.

Reid is survived by his parents, Ryan and Morgan of Muleshoe, Texas; his brother, Kace Marricle of Muleshoe, Texas; his grandparents, Terry and Donna Burton of Muleshoe, Texas and David and Terry Marricle of Muleshoe, Texas; his great-grandparents, Alton Burton of Muleshoe, Texas, Betty Ruth Wood of Plainview, Texas, James Marricle of Floydada, Texas and Lawrence and Carolyn Stovall of San Angelo, Texas; his aunt, Amy Hasty and her husband, Michael of Temple, Texas; his uncle, Lance Burton of Snyder, Texas and many other relatives and friends.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Rootin for Reid, c/o First Bank, PO Box 565, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347 to help other families fighting this same battle.
