Church Service for Joseph Andrew Bustillos Age 13, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Muleshoe with Reydon Stanford of Muleshoe officiating. Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park. Joseph died Sunday, July 3, 2016 in Lubbock. He was born January 8, 2003 in Muleshoe, Texas to Juanita Mendoza Scolley and Pedro Bustillos.

Joseph lived in Muleshoe all of his life. He was on the Muleville Board of Directors at DeShazo Elementary and on the Student Council at Watson Jr. High School. He enjoyed playing football and basketball. Joseph loved horses and his dog, Wreckless.

Survivors include, his mother, Juanita Scolley and her husband, Tony of Muleshoe, Texas; his father, Pedro Bustillos of Stanton, Texas; his grandparents, Ramon and Sally Bustillos of Muleshoe, Texas, Irma Mendoza and John Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas and Thomas and Sharon Scolley of Vega, Texas; his sisters, Amri Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas, Marisela Lozano of Stanton, Texas, Karina Bustillos of Stanton, Texas, Gabriela Bustillos of Stanton, Texas, Ashley Scolley of Muleshoe, Texas and Mandy Edwards of Muleshoe, Texas; his great-grandparents, Sylvia Castorena of Muleshoe, Texas and Ramon and Janie Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas; one niece, Braylee Scolley of Muleshoe, Texas; one nephew, Hagen Edwards of Muleshoe, Texas; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas, 79219.
