Church Service for Barbara Jackson Berry, age 77, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Trinity Christian Church in Muleshoe with Bryan Morris of Muleshoe officiating. Burial will be in Littlefield Cemetery. Barbara died Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Muleshoe. She was born June 24, 1939 in Littlefield, Texas to James Lee and Bessie (Dunagin) Jackson.

Barbara graduated from Littlefield High School. She worked at Park View Nursing Center for many years. She loved to write poetry and stories. Every year, her Christmas story about Muleshoe is played on Channel 6 since the 60’s. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Dorothy Wright, Edith Hayes and Lexi Miller; and three brothers, Daniel Jackson, James Jackson and John Jackson.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Robert Allen Berry Jr. and his wife, Tammy of Venus, Texas and Jimmy Dean Berry and his wife, Rhonda of Muleshoe, Texas; her four daughters, Michelle Berry of Venus, Texas, Elizabeth Embry of Mineral Wells, Texas, Robin Atwood of Muleshoe, Texas and Linda Tosh and her husband, Billy of Muleshoe, Texas; her sister, Bessie Lee Hanks of Grapevine, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Park View Nursing Center, 1100 West Avenue J, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
