Church Service for Emilia G. Davila Age 90, of Sudan, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe with Father Rene Perez of Muleshoe officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Ellis Funeral Home in Sudan. Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery. Emilia died Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Sudan. She was born April 5, 1926 in Carrizo Spring, Texas to Antonio and Enriqueta (Briones) Gonzales She married Alfonzo M. Davila in Sudan, Texas on 1948.

Emilia was a homemaker and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonzo; two sons, Faustino Davila and Armando Davila; a daughter, San Juana Davila; her parents; three brothers; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

Emilia is survived by three sons, San Amado Davila of Littlefield, Texas, Alfonso Davila, Jr. of Sudan, Texas and Daniel Davila of Sudan, Texas; five daughters, Torivia Davila of Littlefield, Texas, Maria Martinez of Sudan, Texas, Minnie Davila of Sudan, Texas, Mary Lou Wood of Littlefield, Texas and Yolanda Rodriguez of Sudan, Texas; 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. After the death of her daughter, San Juana, Emilia took over the care of her grandchildren, Jose Gonzalez, Barbara Rodriguez, Sandra Lee Juarez and Manuel Davila.
