Obituary for Leola Maxine Spraberry
Graveside Service for Leola Maxine Spraberry, Age 91, of Earth, Texas, is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Earth Memorial Cemetery with Elder Ronnie Hedges officiating. The family will be at Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home for visitation from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Leola died Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Amherst, Texas. She was born July 12, 1925 in Vinson, Oklahoma to Joel and Ruby (Chambers) Jones. She was married to Joseph “Shorty” Randolph until his death in 1970. She was then married Delbert Spraberry in 1973 until his death earlier this year.
Leola was a bank bookkeeper for many years. She loved her family and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Earth. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph “Shorty” Randolph and her second husband, Delbert Spraberry; her parents; and a brother, Ed Jones.
Leola is survived by her son, Steve Randolph of Earth, Texas; her daughter, Sandy Koontz of Earth, Texas; her sister, Mozelle Hedges of Amherst, Texas; her brother, Jerry Jones of Earth, Texas; three grandchildren, Kory Koontz, Kymbee McKay and Chance Randolph; five great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Earth Memorial Cemetery, PO Box 523, Earth, Texas, 79031 or Earth Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 274, Earth, Texas, 79031.
