Church service for Mike Schlehuber, age 65, of Sudan, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 2017 at Sudan Church of Christ with Brother Terry Wilson of Sudan officiating. Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery. Mike died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home. He was born August 18, 1951 in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan to Ervin and Marvel (Peterson) Schlehuber. He married Skokie King in Sudan on August 29, 2004

Mike served during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Birkelbach Pump for many years. He loved hunting and fishing, and was an avid NASCAR and Dallas Cowboys fan. Mike treasured his time spent with his kids and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by his wife Skokie; his son, Eric Debnam of Dallas, Texas; his three daughters, Skye Franklin and her husband, Todd of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Lauren Cox and her husband, Alan of Lubbock, Texas and Kylie Debnam of Lubbock, Texas; his two sisters, Denise Schlehuber and Kathy Stokes and her husband, Terry; and his brother, Bruce Schlehuber and his wife, Hope; and four grandchildren, Christopher, Carleigh and Chandler Franklin and Hudson Cox.
