Church service for Darlis Sandefer, age 76, formerly of Morton, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Morton with Pastor Bobby Braswell of Morton officiating. Burial will be in Morton Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Ellis Funeral Home in Morton. Darlis died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at home. She was born December 31, 1940 in Crosbyton, Texas to Guy and Mary Esmer (Dewbre) Williams. She married Kenneth Sandefer in Clovis, New Mexico on June 10, 1970.

Darlis was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth in 2002; her parents; her sister, Reba; her brother, Robert and 2 grandchildren.

Darlis is survived by her two sons, Duane Carlock and his wife, Susie of Washington and Russell Sandefer and his wife, Bonnie of Lawrence, Kansas; her two daughters, Darlis (DeDee) Fanning and her husband, Mike of Ulysses, Kansas and Denise Sena and her husband, Aaron of Edgewood, New Mexico; her brother, Ricky Williams of Minot, North Dakota; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, 2514 – 82nd Street, Suite B, Lubbock, Texas, 79410.
