Graveside service for Eugene Conley, age 74, of Sudan, Texas is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Sudan Cemetery. Eugene died February 18, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born February 18, 1943 in Thomas, Oklahoma to Winston Dewayne Conley and Gwendolyn (Crain) Cox. He married Judy Wallace in Clovis, New Mexico in March of 1961. Eugene is preceded in death by his wife Judy; his father; and one brother, Kenneth.
He is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Cox of Lubbock, Texas; six sons, Lucky Joe Conley of Sudan, Texas, Stacy Gene Conley of Sudan, Texas, Sambo Conley and wife, Carla of Sudan, Texas, Danny Dwayne Conley of Sudan, Texas, Clyde Conley and wife, Tia of Sudan, Texas, Johnny Lynn Conley and wife, Jolee of Sudan, Texas; two daughters, Tammy Richards and husband, Joe of Sudan, Texas and Debera Conley of Sudan, Texas; one sister, Zelma Ann Sisemore of Hale Center, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Sudan EMS, PO Box 491, Sudan, Texas, 79371.
