Obituary for Johnnie Rundell (White)
Johnnie died February 25, 2017 in Muleshoe. She was born August 29, 1932 in Mangum, Oklahoma to John Darrell White and Luella (Sanders) White. She married Merrill Rundell in Oklahoma Lane, Texas on May 29, 1951. He passed away on March 2, 1961. She then married Quinton Jenkins on September 19, 1986 in Oklahoma Lane, Texas.
Johnnie moved to the YL community in 1934 from Mangum, Oklahoma, and then to the Oklahoma Lane community in the mid 1950’s. She was a member of the Oklahoma Lane Methodist Church. Johnnie was the office manager for Farwell Insurance Agency. She was preceded in death by husband Merrill, her second husband Quinton, two sisters Clo Ann Hunt, and Freda Dale, one brother David White, one sister-in-law Louise Foster, and one brother-in-law Wayne Foster.
Johnnie is survived by her three daughters, Tina Sides and husband James of Oklahoma Lane, Tx, Sheree Montgomery and husband Richard of Abernathy, Tx, and Gay Wilmeth and husband Jeter of Tokio, Tx, one brother Robet White of Farwell, Tx, nine grandchildren, Jacque Simnick and husband James, Jim Bob Sides and wife Anna, Ginger Moore and husband Dusty, Melody Rexrode and husband Russell, Sarah Stribling and husband Davis, John Paul Montgomery and wife Laura, Becky Wagner and husband J.W., April Wilmeth, Colby Wilmeth and wife Ashley, seventeen great-grandchildren.
